Also known as Murr’s volcano, Trou Aux Cerfs is a dormant volcano and is surrounded by a vast area of lush forest. Its last eruption dated back to 700,000 years ago. The volcanic crater is around 605 meters above sea level, with a diameter of 350 meters and a depth of approximately 100 meters.
Located in Curepipe,Trou Aux Cerfs offers an amazing view of the Rempart Mountain, Trois Mamelles, and the Port-Louis- Moka mountain range.
